Girls First Festival was lit!
The festival travelled throughout Trinidad and Tobago over the last year, providing a safe space for young ladies between the ages of 12 and 18 to express themselves, to be empowered, to have fun!
I was extremely pleased to be a part of the line up and would love to endorse this programme wholehartedly!
To see the joy on the young ladies' faces was pure awesomeness
To see them meeting new friends
To see them being able to have fun in an environment of caring
To see the older women passing on the baton
Really wonderful
Thank you for the opportunity to share lessons on the Journey
and long may this initiative continue
